The goal was not more traffic. It was more high-intent demo submissions that translate into qualified pipeline.
The challenge In a competitive medical device software category, traffic volume alone wasn't the right measure of success. The business needed more qualified demo demand from visitors with stronger intent around quality management, clinical, regulatory, and product-development workflows.
The DataXGrowth approach We focused on the connection between search intent, page experience, and conversion paths — prioritizing higher-intent traffic, clearer demo pathways, and stronger alignment between acquisition channels and commercial goals. That included strengthening SEO and AEO visibility on high-intent product and category topics, aligning content for buyers evaluating medical device QMS and clinical software, shipping conversion-focused page updates, and evaluating channels by MQL-driving actions rather than sessions.
The results Over the January–June reporting period, demo-related Key Events grew from 1,013 to 2,253 — a 122% year-over-year increase — for an estimated $4.08M in incremental MQL value. The strongest signal was efficiency: even with total sessions down 31%, the demo Key Event rate improved 222%. Organic Search remained the largest source of demo actions (≈$2.35M in MQL value), while Direct delivered the biggest year-over-year lift (≈$1.60M).
